By takng these videos, I have been in a position to document the really rapid development of a baby squirrel. Just a few days ago, he could barely creep. This morning he decided to dart about a half yard across my desk! It created me believe about the really serious dangers little Earl would encounter in my property. Namely, Scout our cat and Ollie our Silky Terrier. Each of them are verified rodent catchers. All little Earl would ave to do is dart across the floor and organic instinct would take more than if my cat or dog was there. This would mean a terrible death for Earl Squirrel, and that would break our hearts. Our home is not the place for a small squirrel to grow up. I did some research and identified The Wildlife Rescue Coalition of Northeast Florida. They have folks who volunteer to take care of wildlife till it is in a position to be cost-free on its own. My son and I took Earl there this afternoon. When Earl is large enough, he will begin the process of getting re-introduced back into the life of a cost-free wild squirrel. The woman at the place said that I had carried out a really great job and Earl was in excellent condition. That was nice to hear. I also met the woman who is going to be Earl’s new Mom for now. If you are reading this, New Mom, thank you. You are doing a really good thing. Love, Hootowlgal
